ADVANCED SURVIVAL PREPAREDNESS COURSES

This class serves to push you to the extreme and test all the basics you have learned up until now.  You know the basics and you have knowledge of the comforts and discomforts, you have touched on what nature has to offer, here we combine all and put it ALL to the test.  This class is your skills, fears, emotions, adrenaline, and confidence wrapped into one.  We are along for the venture you seek - take us to where your determination, knowledge, and skills have led you.
YOU CAN COMPLETE THIS TASK, IT IS WHAT YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR!!!!!!!!!
We are not offering a "drop you survival" scenario for your advanced level.  We purpose, you are the leader, the instructor, the navigator, and the problem solver.  By taking care of your team, you are also caring for yourself.  Your problem solving skills and survival skills will come into play as well as your confidence level, this is what you have been preparing for.  Tell us about the tracks or the weather.  Use your team to the best of your advantage.

Your hosts will also prepare you for advanced techniques during your excursion, and address:  winter camping, along with thru hiking and long distance planning.
Your itinerary is changing; your basic level has been done with course instruction and with field experience hand-in-hand.  You have progressed to the advanced level of training, and your course with be done strictly in the field.  You have no room for error here, but you can succeed in your endeavor.

Introduction & What to Expect
Your hosts will begin your class with an outline and expectations of your wilderness venture.  

Safety
Safety is always a high priority during your class;  your hosts will review and emphasize your safety during all levels of the class.

Winter Camping Techniques
During your field experience, we will discuss aspects and techniques of cold weather and winter camping.

Advanced Trip Planning
 During your venture, Kim will discuss how to plan, map, and prepare for thru-hikes and long-distance backpacking trips.

FIELD EXPERIENCE

This class is an all hands-on experience. You have now progressed to an advanced wilderness experience and it is time to test it all.  You will be challenged in physical as well as mental preparedness.   You will be learning winter camping techniques, cold weather techniques, and advanced trip planning during your field course.  But the experience is yours to plan, organize, navigate, and problem solve.  If a safety issue on your part does arise, we will step in.  If a safety issue arrives as a problem solving issue, you will be working with your team or yourself to best handle the current situation.

The remote Adirondacks, very few travel through this destination.  Consider a remote survival course.

Total cost for your course, lodging, field experience, gear and MRE'S:  $825.00/pp

This does include a night stay upon your return with your meals.

WE DO REQUIRE A BASICS COURSE PRIOR, OR DIRECT CONTACT REGARDING YOUR OUTDOOR EDUCATION BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE.  BASIC SURVIVAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED AS A PREREQUISITE.  THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY.
