An Adirondack Honeymoon Trip

September 23, 2004 - September 26, 2004

Meet Jessica & Greg
Greg and Jessica arrived at Back To Basics for celebration of their honeymoon. Dan & I could not be more pleased that they decided to hold their celebration here.
Jessica & Greg had decided on their honeymoon vacation in the Adirondack Mountains.

Next thing on the agenda. Maybe a little food and wine for the evening.  Fine wines from the finger lakes yet again? Maybe Dan & I need to take a trip?
Their decision on accommodations was the Bear Necessities Cabin.

Jess & Greg were yet another great couple to have at Back To Basics. Dan & I would like to wish them well in their endeavors.
Jessica & Greg's romantic honeymoon was to be spent with alone time along with some outdoor activities. Jessica & Greg did bring along a few bottles of wine for their honeymoon celebration. One bottle (of course empty); Dan & I have now placed in our dining lean-to for another great memory.

An early fall foliage tour for the day; wasn't a bad idea.  The mountain views were spectacular as always!
Greg & Jessica also decided on some canoeing in West Lake. Since the locals had left after Labor Day, they were able to have more of the lake to themselves.

The maples always present us some fabulous colors during fall foliage.  The calm waters were peaceful on West Lake Today.
The fall foliage was beginning to appear, during Jess & Greg's honeymoon trip, and Dan & I were pleased they got to experience some of the Adirondack colors during their stay.

Dan & Kim,

"Thank you so much for everything. We received way more hospitality than expected. When you came down to check on us the first night we were really surprised. We not only rented the cabin, we got good company and great fire builders. The wine and chocolate strawberries were a great treat for our honeymoon. Thank you so much for everything."
