Arrive at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures

Spend full day at Adirondack Wilderness Adventures

Day Three
Drive to Trail Head
Hike into Silver Lake (7.4 miles)
Stay at Silver Lake

Adirondack Wilderness Hikes are an excellent choice for a guided backpacking trip.  Adirondack Wilderness Adventures is located in Upstate New York in the Town of Bleecker.  Bleecker is in fulton county.  Back To Basics can be seen as a retreat travel experience in the Adirondacks.  The photo you are viewing is Silver lake in the Silver Lake Wilderness area. We would like people to enjoy the bare basics of backpacking, fishing, hunting, skiing, canoeing, boating of the mountains in the Adirondacks.  While basic, we are romantic and provide vacations of a life time.  The getaways and resorts offer a lot, but we offer the fishing, hunting, skiing, canoeing, boating, and the mountains of the excursion resorts you will remember for a lifetime.

Hike to Whitehouse (9 miles)

Whitehouse provides a unique stretch of the adirondack trails

Day Five
Hike to Piseco - resupply (8.1 miles)
Continue to Fall Stream (4.4miles)
Stay at Fall Stream

Fall stream has its own adventures.

Day Six
Hike to Spruce Lake (6 miles)
Camp at Spruce Lake


Day Seven
Hike to West Lake (5.5 miles)
Camp at West Lake

West lake provides solitude

Day Eight
Hike to Carry (12.0 miles)
Stay at Carry

Camp at carry for a relaxing lodging experience in the adirondack mountains.

Day Nine
Hike to Stephens Pond (13.4 miles)
Camp at Stephens Pond

There are several hikes of the NLP in this area to explore and camp.

Day Ten
Hike into Tirrell Pond (8 miles)

Day Eleven
Hike to Catlin Bay (12 miles)
Stay at Catlin Bay

Long Lake is a wonderful area to hike and explore.  You have several camp locals in this Adirondack area.

Day Twelve
Hike to Cold River (11 miles)

Day Thirteen
Hike to Duck Hole  (11 miles)
Camp at Duck Hole

Duck Hole a beautiful section to hike and camp.  Very scenic in fall foliage.

Day Fourteen
Hike to Wanika Falls (5.5 miles)
Camp at Wanika Falls

Day Fifteen
Hike to Lake Placid (8 miles)
